Meet Dr. Michelle Nagy
Michelle C. Nagy, DDS, founded the Oakwood Dental practice in 2006 with her husband, Dr. Attila Nagy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University. Dr. Nagy is an active member of the ADA, ODA, and Central Ohio Dental Association. She enjoys participating in a wide variety of continuing education to keep in touch with the latest research, technology, techniques, and materials. Dr. Nagy previously worked in a breast cancer and skin cancer genetics research lab. She chose to go into dentistry because she loved the idea of helping people smile more, and now she enjoys getting to know patients and learning about their lives.
When not working, Dr. Nagy enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Dr. Attila Nagy, and her children Adrianna and Dominik, as well as their goats Schnitzel and Nokedli and cat George. She is a Girl Scout troop co-leader and a Boy Scout troop volunteer. She spends much of her free time as a free Uber driver for her children and their friends. She loves being outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking and riding her bike and also loves to travel. Dr. Nagy plays the violin (but not as well as her children!). One of her bucket list items was to go on a wilderness trip in the Boundary Waters, and she and her daughter were able to experience this together a few years ago.
